This is the first upload of The AnarchyShow (AutonomousActionRadio) for some time and it’s a sick show.
First up is an interview with a woman named Tessa who is making a zine about sexual violence in the music and skating scenes.
Tessa has a Facebook page No Consent = Sexual Abuse.
Next up is a bunch of anti police tracks and Anna Kissed explaining why she stopped the Brisbane Pride March in order to protest against police marching in the march in uniform.
Finally I talked a bit about Syria and play some interviews I did at an action which was held in Brisbane last Wednesday as a response to Australia joining the US in bombing Syria.
The event was held in King George Square.
The entire Children of the Gulf War photo exhibit was laid out along with children toys to signify those who are affected most by war.
Paper and pens were available for passers by to write messages to display.
In this way the aim of the action was to encourage participation from people walking through the square.
And people did indeed stop, to look at the photos, engage in conversation, and to write signs condemning Australia’s involvement in this Illegal War.
There is a protest against Australia bombing Syria on Sunday September 27 at 13pm in King George Square.
Below is some interviews from Robin Taubenfeld who organised the event and Tracey Tulley who was one of the attendees.
Scroll down to view pictures which show the success of the action.
